The problem of unemployment among graduates from Cameroons higher institutions of learning has been a matter of concern to the nation recently. As part of the contribution to arresting the situation, this study was designed to Examine the Usefulness of Higher Education instructional strategies on the employability of graduates in Cameroon. To carry out the study, three research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated. After reviewing both theoretical and empirical literature, the survey research design was employed in the study. The study was carried out in the two state universities of the English speaking regions of Cameroon. The sample for the study consisted of 300 students, 120 lecturers, and 6 employers. Data was collected using close ended questionnaires and interviews. The study employed econometrics regression techniques such as the structural equation modeling SEM approach using the maximum likely hood estimation technique to analyze the data that were collected. The critical ratio was used to test the significance of the hypothesis and the overall results revealed that, instructional strategies have a significant contribution to graduate employability in Cameroon from the perspective of teachers, students, and employers. Based on the above findings, it was specifically recommended that, teachers of higher education institutions should be properly trained on how to effectively use the various instructional strategies to trigger graduate employability. The study aimed to evaluate the benefits of cost efficiency in sustainable building project delivery in Nigeria, specifically in Awka Anambra State. It used primary and secondary data, with 86 questionnaires and only 47 valid responses, percentage rating and relative importance index RII was adopted and used for analysing data. The study found that sustainable cost efficiency could be evaluated early in design through value engineering exercises, with RII=.085 . Poor knowledge and construction methodology were rated as the highest barriers to sustainable building and cost efficiency, with RII=0.85 . Life cycle costing could be a valuable method for achieving cost efficiency in sustainable building projects, with RII=0.81 . Benefits of cost efficiency of sustainable building could be achieved by better integration of all relevant professional from inception, design stage, construction stage and throughout the lifecycle of a project, with RII=0.87 . Schizophrenia imposes a heavy burden on both the individual and society. Automated Facilities management is the use of computerized system to perform or supplement facilities management functions. Facilities managers can manage multiple facilities from one location by having all data in one place. The study examined the level of adoption of automated facilities management and the factors militating against effective adoption of the process in hotels in Awka. The sample size, which is the total number of registered hotels in Awka, is 101. The study adopted field survey method, using structured questionnaires, personal interviews and observations as tools for data collection. A random sampling technique was used to select the sample size. The data was subjected to descriptive statistical method. Analysis was done using statistical package for social science SPSS version 23. Frequency tables, percentages, graphs and charts were used to present the data. The hypotheses were tested using Kruskal Wallis H test while the objectives were analyzed with the use of Mean and Mean rank. The study revealed the level of application is low and there are certain factors militating against effective adoption of automated facilities management in hotels. It was recommended that the hospitality industry should incorporate automated approaches to enhance facilities management practices in hotels, employ well trained facilities managers, organize workshops and seminars regarding new technologies and automation and also increase funding to acquire automated facilities that will help streamline their operations and reduce errors and cost. The study was aimed to determine the impact of Annona muricata on biochemical and histological profile on alcohol induced testicular dysfunction in male Wistar Rat. Twenty five male Wistar rats with a weight of 130 160 grams were employed. Group A received feed and distilled water only, group B received 40 ml of Alcohol, and group C received 200mg kg of ethanolic leaf extract of Annona muricata ELAM . Groups D and E received 40 ml of Alcohol and were treated with 200mg kg and 400mg kg of ELAM for three weeks. The administration was done through oral gavage daily for three weeks. Data obtained for testosterone, Malondialdehyde MDA, Catalase CAT, gonado somatic index, and semen quality total sperm count, motility, and morphology were analyzed using ANOVA followed by post hoc LSD, and values were considered significant at p 0.05. The results showed a significant p 0.05 decrease in testosterone level, total sperm count, activity motility, and normal sperm cells in group B compared to A. However, in treatment groups, Annona muricata attenuated the effect on the parameters above, with a significant p 0.05 increase compared to group B. Alcohol toxicity caused an increase in abnormal sperm cells and gonado somatic index of the testes significantly p 0.05, which was attenuated by the Annona muricata. Also, significant higher MDA activities were observed in group B with no significant change in groups, C to E. CAT activities showed a significant decrease in group B and significantly attenuated CAT activities in group E. Histoarchitectural results revealed spermatogenic arrest and necropsied spermatids in group B, while moderate healing and increased spermatogenic process by the extracts in the treated groups. The study revealed testicular dysfunction resulting in infertility by alcohol toxicity however, Annona muricata showed improved fertility after reduced testicular function and improved CAT activities based on dose dependent with no effect on MDA level. The study concentrated in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was used to carry out the study. The population sample of the study comprised of 114 Chemistry students 44 males and 70 female that participated in e learning during the first wave of 2019 2020 COVID 19 lockdown in Nigeria. Two research questions and one hypothesis were formulated for the study. The instrument used was developed by the researchers known as E Learning Challenges by Chemistry Students ECCS with reliability of .75. The ECCS was distributed by the researchers to the students. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions while t test was used to test the null hypotheses. The findings showed a statistical significance difference between the mean responses of male and female Chemistry students to ECCS in favour of female students. Multilevel inverters act as a promising solution for medium voltage, high power applications due to their modularity and reduced voltage stress across the switches. Cascaded H Bridge Multilevel Inverters CHB MLI are being considered as the best choice for grid connected Photovoltaic PV systems since they require several sources on the DC side. The present study was conducted to compare arm versus abdomen injection sites on bruising and pain among samples received LMWH injection. The study made use of quantitative approach with randomized controlled trial RCTs . The study was conducted in the cardiology wards and CICU of Caritas Heart Institute, Kottayam. The population included in the study was patients who receive Low Molecular Weight Heparin injection in upper arm and abdomen. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 60 samples for the study. The tools used were structured questionnaire on socio demographic and clinical data, linear measurement of bruising by calibrated ruler and pain assessed by numerical pain rating scale. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. The obtained mean scores of occurrences of bruising among patients who receive LMWH injection in upper arm is 3.43 and in patients who receive LMWH injection in abdomen is 11.0. Hence it is depicted that occurrence of bruising among patients who receive LMWH injection in abdomen is large above 5mm2 and bruising level among patients who receive LMWH injection in upper arm is very less. The results revealed that, there is significant difference t= 4.893, P= 0.000 in the occurrence of bruising among patients who receive LMWH injection in x upper arm and abdomen after 72 hrs. The mean scores of level of bruising of patients who receive LMWH injection in abdomen are higher than that of patients who receive LMWH injection in upper arm. Malaria is quite possibly the main general medical issues in Nigeria which can be transmitted through the bites of infected female Anopheles as a result of bushy environment, stagnant water or poor housing condition and sometimes nearness to water bodies. This study is aimed at studying malaria parasitemia in Anambra East Local Government Area.The malaria parasitemia in four communities of Anambra East Local Government Area LGA was carried out using standard parasitological techniques for rapid assessment of malaria infection and level of parasitemia. Results showed an overall malaria parasitemia of 22.3, where 49 participants out of 220 participants were positive. Community based malaria parasitemia of 13 5.9 in Nando, 12 5.5 in Umuoba Anam, 9 4.1 in Nsugbe and 8 3.6 in Umueri. The four different communities recorded variations in malaria parasitemia. This study examine the imperative of environmental cost on equity and assets of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The study adopts ex post facto, content analysis and regression research design. The research adopts secondary source of data in obtaining all the data needed for the study, extracted from the audited financial statements of the sampled manufacturing firms, which is meticulously examined and relevant data extracted from the period of 2011 2018 for analysis, in line with the main objective. The study examined the effect of board structure on sustainability disclosure in Anambra state polytechnic. Board structure was proxy using board female representation and board meetings while the sustainability disclosure was measured using sustainability disclosure index. Ex post facto design was adopted and the data for the study was collected from the yearly reporting of the institution and also report on council sitting for the period of 2018 2022. OLS Regression Model was used in the data analysis and the results of the study indicates that board female representation and board meeting have positive and significant effect on sustainability disclosures in Anambra state polytechnic at 1 5 significant level. Hence, the study concludes that board structure ensures sustainability disclosure in Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu. In lieu of this, the study recommends among all that there is a need for consideration of female board representation when appointing the council members in the polytechnic. There should be policies that should require institutions to nominate women as council members. This is based on the fact that female board representation favours greater orientation towards stakeholders and social issues by influencing disclosures on sustainability activities. This study assessed if internally generated revenue is a panacea for growth and development of Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu. Specifically, the study examined if internally generated revenue IGR has helped in the growth of Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu., the challenges facing Anambra State Polytechnic in generating sufficient IGR to supplement subventions been provided by the State government and if there is any relationship between IGR and growth of a government tertiary institution. Three hypotheses were formulated to guide this investigation and the statistical test of parameter estimates was conducted using Friedmans 2 Way ANOVA. The study anchored on transformational leadership theory adopted a descriptive survey design approach. Hence, data were collected using questionnaire survey administered to bursary department and internal audit department of Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe Federal Polytechnic Oko and Federal College of Education Technical, Umunze. This study examined the relationship between data analytics and efficiency of public hospitals in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study adopted the cross sectional survey in its investigation of the variables. Primary source of data was generated through self administered questionnaire. The population of the study was 810 employees of the 20 public hospitals in Rivers State, from which a sample of 265 employees was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan 1970 table. The reliability of the instrument was achieved using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient with all the items scoring above 0.70. Data generated were analyzed and presented using both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The hypotheses were tested using the Spearman Rank Order Correlation Coefficient. The tests were carried out at a 95 confidence interval and a 0.05 level of significance. A total number of 265 copies of the questionnaire was administered to the respondents and 221 which represents approximately 83.40 were returned and found usable for the analysis. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between data analytics and efficiency of public hospitals in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study recommends that public hospitals should consider incorporating descriptive analytics practices into their operations. Human body skeleton is manufactured by different type of bones and joints. There is cartilage in joints to act the bone flexible and properly. This study examines The Impact of Internal Audit on The Performance of Bayelsa State Broadcasting Corporation using both primary and secondary data obtained from the organization through questionnaire and monthly reports of the entity. The objectives, were established to link internal audit and performance of Bayelsa State Broadcasting Corporation. The empirical analysis shows that there is an insignificant relationship between internal control and the performance of Bayelsa State Broadcasting Corporation internal audit, has a positive and insignificant relationship with gross surplus margin safeguarding of assets has a negative and insignificant relationship with gross surplus margin of government owned companies. It is evident from the findings of the study that internal audit plays a minute role in enhancing the performance of government owned companies in Nigeria. This study examines the relationship between Human capital Efficiency and performance of listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The study analyzed human capital efficiency dimension of human capital efficiency and relational capital efficiency, while performance was analyzed with return on capital employed and earnings per share. Ex post facto research design was adopted for the study. The population of this study was listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria Stock Exchange from 2015 2019. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and multivariate regression were statistical tools used and the secondary data were analyzed with the aid of SPSS version 25, we concluded that Human capital efficiency and Relational capital efficiency significantly relates with return on capital employed and earning per shares of listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria in the period of this study and recommend that Nigerian manufacturing firms must develop strategies to invest adequately in different human capital components. There has been a revolution in the use of mobile health devices for monitoring physical health. There is more recent interest in whether these devices can also be used for monitoring symptoms of mental illness. The paper discusses how mobile based system can be employed for detecting physiological signs of stress. Stress causes deviations in biometrics such as EDA, heart rate etc. measurement of these biometrics using a handheld device can allow patients to self monitor and clinicians to detect the early warning signs. Nigerias microfinance policy is crucial in reducing poverty among female micro entrepreneurs. However, these entrepreneurs face numerous challenges that hinder their economic empowerment. This paper explores the impact of microfinance on poverty reduction among female micro entrepreneurs in Nigeria, focusing on the challenges they encounter and the strategic options to overcome them. The paper begins with an overview of Nigerias microfinance policy, highlighting its objectives and critical components. It then delves into female micro entrepreneurs challenges, including limited access to financial services and resources, sociocultural barriers, and limited business skills and knowledge. These challenges are analysed in depth to understand their implications for poverty reduction among female micro entrepreneurs. Ca Hydraulic transient is a factor to be considered during structural design of water conveyance system. The most common hazardous situation is the uncontrolled pump trip due to power failure. Therefore, surge analysis is important for a water delivery project having long pipeline. Customized software WH 2.7 is used to solve the problem of surge in pipeline. Method of characteristics is widely used mathematical scheme for solving the phenomenon because of higher accuracy. The partial differential equations may be transformed by the method of characteristics into total differential equations. The later equations may then be integrated to yield finite differential equations which are conveniently handled numerically. This paper describes the problem of water hammer in long pipeline of lift irrigation scheme. The pumping station of lift irrigation scheme is located on riverbank and is to lift the water to the reservoir located at distance of 5.5 km through 1300mm diameter and 11 8 mm thickness mild steel pipeline. Three vertical turbine pumps each having capacity of delivering 0.937 m3 s total discharge capacity 2.8 m3 s and 43.24 m total head to irrigate the command area of 3300 ha. Continuous number of trials led to select combination of one air vessel of capacity 50 m3 and 10 Air Valves. Studies carried out helped to foresee advent conditions like column separation well in advance before implementation. Xanthium strumarium L. Family Asteraceae, a common weed in North America, Brazil, China, Malaysia, and the drier regions of India, is a medicinal plant. The herb has historically been used to treat a variety of illnesses. Traditional medicine has used extracts of the entire plant, particularly the leaves, roots, fruits, and seeds, to treat conditions like leucoderma, epilepsy, salivation, chronic malaria, rheumatism, tuberculosis, allergic rhinitis, sinitis, urticaria, rheumatoid arthritis, constipation, diarrhoea, leprosy, lumbago, pruritis, bacterial infections, and fungal infections. In this present study, we investigated neurobehavioral activity of ethanol extract of Xanthium strumarium L in mice as a part of a psychopharmacological screening of this plant. The effects of the plant extract on CNS were studied by using Elevated plus maze test, Hole board test, Hole cross test, open field test. The overall results suggest that the ethanol extract of Xanthium strumarium have significant effect on CNS. However, future efforts should concentrate more on in vitro and in vivo studies in order to confirm traditional insight in the light of a rational phytotherapy. This paper works on the modelling of Solar PV connected with the boost converter for boosting output voltage from the Solar panel and an option for the battery charging arrangement is provided from the booster side DC output for the charging facility of a battery bank. Religious diversity has become an increasingly prevalent phenomenon worldwide, extending its impact to Lesotho as well. Lesotho accommodates a wide array of religious beliefs, encompassing Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and indigenous religions. In response to this burgeoning religious landscape, the prominence of Religious Education RE in Lesothos schools has grown, with the current secondary RE syllabus incorporating a theme on religious diversity. While the inclusion of this theme represents a positive step toward addressing societal continuous transformation, a critical evaluation of the genuineness of this theme is imperative. Therefore, this study employs a qualitative case study approach grounded in the theory of knowledge constitutive interests to scrutinize the authenticity and efficacy of the theme of religious diversity within the syllabus. For data collection, document analysis is utilized to examine the RE syllabus, while purposive sampling facilitated the selection of two syllabus components Learning outcomes and Suggested learning experiences. Findings emanating from the analysis revealed that while certain aspects of the religious diversity theme strive to foster an authentic portrayal of religious diversity, a portion of the theme falls short in providing substantive content or meaningful engagement. As a consequence, this study suggests that the review of the RE syllabus should ensure its alignment with the evolving understanding of religious diversity and its continued relevance to Lesothos religious context. This study seeks to examine the factors that cause customer loyalty in reusing logistics services. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Logistic Service Quality which is divided into five dimensions Personnel Contact Quality, Order Quality, Timeliness, Information Quality and Order Discrepancy Handling on Loyalty by mediating Satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative with the number of respondents being 105 companies in various cities that often use logistics services at PT. X. The analytical technique used is SEM with the help of the Lisrel program. The results of data analysis show that the five dimensions of Logistics Service Quality have a positive and significant influence on Satisfaction. In addition, there is a positive influence between satisfaction and loyalty. This study also shows that Information Quality, Order Quality, and Order Discrepancy Handling have a positive and significant effect on Loyalty through Satisfaction. On the other hand, Personnel Contact Quality and Timeliness have no significant effect on Loyalty through Satisfaction. The study investigated the relationship between firm attributes and environmental disclosure among energy corporations in Nigeria. The research utilized a causal comparative research design, focusing on energy corporations listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group NEG from 2013 to 2022. The sample included nine quoted firms primarily operating in the oil and gas, utility, and natural resource sectors. Secondary data from annual reports and financial statements of selected energy firms were used, and the Multiple Linear Regression Approach established the causal relationship between firm attributes and environmental disclosure. The findings revealed that larger and older firms faced challenges in providing detailed environmental information due to operational complexity and established reporting practices. However, firm leverage did not significantly impact environmental disclosure. The study offers valuable insights for enhancing environmental reporting and transparency among larger and older firms to meet stakeholder expectations and promote sustainability. Most of the steel structures in India are made of conventional steel sections such as angle, channel and beam sections . However, new hollow steel sections such as square and rectangular hollow sections are gaining popularity in recent steel constructions due to a number of advantages such as its higher strength to weight ratio, better fire resistance properties, higher radius of gyration, lesser surface area, etc. This type of hollow sections can save cost up to 30 to 50 over the conventional steel sections. But unlike the conventional steel sections these hollow sections do not have standard connection details available in design code or in published literature. To overcome this problem the objective of the present study was identified to develop a suitable and economic connection detail between two square hollow sections which should be capable of transmitting forces smoothly and easy to be fabricated To achieve the above objective, a square hollow beam to square hollow column connection was selected and modeled in commercial finite element software ABAQUS. This model was analyzed for nonlinear static pushover analysis considering a number of connection details. Following four alternative scheme of connection details were selected for this study i using end plate, ii using angle section, iii using channel sections, and iv using collar plates. The base model rectangular hollow beam welded to one face of the rectangular hollow column is also studied for reference. The performance of the selected connection details are compared and the best performing connection details is recommended for rectangular hollow beam to rectangular hollow column joints. The result shows that the load carrying capacity of the joint and the maximum deformation capacity is highly sensitive to the type of connection used. Also, the location of formation of plastic hinges in the structure which can be at joint or at beam depends highly on the type of connection used. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women. Furthermore, there is evidence that hormonal changes also leads to anthropometric changes associated with hypertension.Aim - To compare the anthropometric measures and blood pressure of pre and post menopausal women and find the association between anthropometric measures and hypertension.Methodology - A comparative study was conducted on 50 pre and 50 post menopausal women. The sampling method was purposive sampling and conducted in Goyala Vihar of Delhi. The door to door survey was conducted and data was collected using kobo tool. The measurements of BP, weight, height, hip and waist circumference was done following the protocols. The data was analysed using SPSS software.Result and conclusion - The result was significant for all variables Age, Wt, BMI, HC, WC, WHR and BAI except Ht. Independent T test was used to compare. Correlation and regression depicted that age is the predictor for diastolic blood pressure in pre menopausal women and for post menopausal women age, Ht, Wt, BMI, WC and HC are predictor of diastolic blood pressure. Women in post menopausal stage were at high risk of HTN compared to pre menopausal women. Anorectal abscesses are one of the potentially debilitating diseases among them perianal abscess and ischiorectal abscess are common. An ano rectal abscess originates from an infection arising in the crypto glandular epithelium lining of the anal canal spreading into adjacent spaces. A perianal abscess can cause pain, swelling, redness, and localized warmth around the anus. An ischiorectal abscess, on the other hand, occurs in the deeper tissues surrounding the anus. It often originates from an anal gland infection and progresses to involve the ischiorectal space. The ischiorectal space is located between the anal sphincter muscles and the outermost layer of the pelvic floor muscles. Symptoms of an ischiorectal abscess include severe pain, swelling, tenderness. Ischiorectal abscesses require medical attention. This study investigated common health challenges in welding workshops in Orodo. This study aims to determine the use of personal protective equipment among welders, and levels of awareness of occupational hazards and complaints among welders. The descriptive cross sectional research design was adopted for the study of a population of 400 welders in Orodo from an official source. A sample size of 400 welders, drawn using a proportionate random sampling technique took part in the study. Cronbach Alpha Coefficient test was used for the reliability of the instrument and a reliability of 0.86 was got. The data collected were analyzed using percentages to answer the research questions whereas figures and Chi square was used to test the hypotheses. The findings of the study showed that the level of knowledge about occupational hazards of the welders was relatively high in the categories. The findings also revealed that there were significant differences in knowledge of occupational hazards among the welders based on age, work experience, and level of education at p 0.50 respectively. It was recommended, among others, that there should be increased involvement of healthcare providers in the provision of safety devices and knowledge dissemination to the welders in Orodo. Hemorrhoids are a very common ano rectal phenomenon seen in current era which are very troublesome, routine hampering and having the tendency to become severe and deteriorate the condition of the patient. Multiple surgical interventions are made use of by surgeons to treat them depending upon their Grades. The Grade 1 type are the ones most commonly present yet most neglected conditions as the symptoms do have any major disturbance in day to day life of the patient 1 . Surgical interventions viz. Haemorrhoidectomy Open and Closed, Rubber Band Ligation, Stapled Hemorrhoidplexy etc. are in demand by both the patients and the surgeons due to their various advantages 2 . Hemorrhoids can be co related to Arsha in Ayurvedic literature. The cons of surgery hospital stay, post op pain, expenditure etc. can be avoided in 1st degree primary hemorrhoids by putting the patient on conservative line of treatment i.e. Ayurvedic medicines internally and giving modifications in diet and lifestyle. A study was conducted wherein a patient diagnosed with 1st degree hemorrhoids was treated by giving him Ayurvedic medicines for oral consumption. Regular weekly follow up were taken and the relief experienced by the patient as well as findings during examination were noted over the span of 30 days. It was found that there was marked reduction of the clinical features exhibited by the patient in the first week itself. Also significant improvement in the overall condition of the patient was seen at the end of the treatment plan. In the quest for sustainable and eco friendly energy solutions, renewable energy biogas technology stands out as a promising option, offering zero waste energy generation. River water hyacinths, known for their rapid and abundant growth, hold great potential in this domain. Rich in cellulose, nitrogen, essential nutrients, and fermentable components, water hyacinth leaves present an ideal source for biogas fuel production. Notably, their high hemicellulose content allows for efficient biogas generation. This study focuses on harnessing the biogas potential of water hyacinths readily available in river ecosystems. The experimental setup involved employing water hyacinth, cow dung, and water at various ratios using the batch fermentation technique. Daily monitoring of biogas production was conducted throughout the 60 day degradation process until the desired gas production levels were achieved, alongside effective degradation of the biomass. An essential factor explored in this study was the Carbon to Nitrogen C N ratio, recognized as a critical determinant for successful biogas production. The research findings revealed that a C N ratio of 30.75 proved to be optimal for this specific experiment. This research contributes valuable insights into the potential of renewable biogas technology, highlighting the significance of utilizing water hyacinths as a viable and sustainable energy resource, while also offering a greener approach to address environmental challenges. This study was initiated to identify beef cattle value chain actors, mapping, and their activities and roles in beef cattle value chain in the study areas. Primary data were collected from randomly selected beef cattle producers, input suppliers and traders at various levels using pre tested semi structured questionnaire. Besides, data were collected through Focused Group Discussions and key Informant interviews to substantiate the survey data. And secondary data was collected from published and unpublished sources. Descriptive result indicated that, input suppliers, cattle fatteners, brokers, traders, hotel and restaurant owners, and consumers were the major beef cattle value chain actors identified in the study areas. High broker interference, illegal traders, low producers price, weak linkage, lack of access to adequate institutional services, and lack of market infrastructure were observed among beef cattle value chain actors in the study areas. This study suggests the concerned stakeholders at different levels should have to give attention and policy support for the strengthening and development of beef cattle cooperative marketing, strengthen the linkage among chain actors, adding value at each value chain stage, and improving supportive institutions to improve beef cattle productivity and management practices are crucial in the study areas. Background For the professional growth of nursing students as well as their responsibilities as practitioners and educators, it is crucial to provide current knowledge and training in basic life support procedures. Objectives The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of basic life support training on knowledge among nursing students. Methods A non randomized quasi experimental design One group pre test post test was used in this study. The investigation was carried out in a lab at a college for nursing students. The sample consisted of a convenience sample of 3rd semester students enrolled in the undergraduate nursing class. The study sample consisted of 70 nursing students. Basic life support training included both theoretical and practical components. The students knowledge were assessed before basic life support training. Data were collected using the knowledge assessment questionnaire. The pre and post assessment knowledge scores were compared. Results After basic life support training, level of knowledge scores were higher as compared to pre training scores t= 11.06, p=0.000 . Conclusion The study showed that basic life support training improved knowledge and skills related to basic life support practices in nursing students. Accurately estimating evaporation is necessary for calculating and scheduling irrigation water requirements. Current literature points to the use of individual machine learning models for better estimation of evaporation. However, such methods have not been used in the Indian framework. Moreover, given the diversity of climate, it is necessary to develop an ensemble technique incorporating a significant number of machine learning algorithms to have a better estimation of weekly evaporation. The study was conducted in the Babile district of East Hararghe Zone. The objective of this activity was to evaluate the profitability of adapted and high yielder hot pepper varieties. The activity was undertaken for the consecutive two years 2017 2018 of the main cropping season. A total of 30 farmers were directly benefited from the technology. Mareko Fana and Melka Awaze improved hot pepper and local check varieties were used on a plot size of 10mx10m. The target farmers, Development Agents, and Experts of the district were trained before starting the activity. Awareness creation was done through different extension approaches and using extension materials such as field day, Field visits, manuals, and leaflets. The result showed that the Marako Fana variety gave a high grain yield of 23.73 qt ha followed by Melka Awaze 22.82 qt ha and local check 15.38 qt ha . Moreover, the varieties were identified and ranked based on the criteria set by farmers Early maturity, yield, disease tolerance, pod size, pod diameter. As a result, both Mareko Fana and Melka Awaze varieties were recommended for more promotion in the area and other similar agroecology. Entrepreneurship is considered as a key to sustainable development where entrepreneurs serves as the employers of labour in most part of the country, the study take a brief analysis of the impact of entrepreneurship on sustainable development in north eastern region of Nigeria, a survey research method was adopted to secure the reliable result of the study, 1,667 sampled respondent were successfully participated in the exercise which was determined by taro yamani formula, the analysis was made with the help of statistical package of social science SPSS through which the simple regression analysis was the technique used. Fufu, a processed food from cassava Manihot esculenta tubers is one of the staple foods consumed in Nigeria. Some methods of processing allow it to harbor high cyanide content in form of Hydrogen Cyanide HCN . Traditionally processed fufu are obtained as wet mash after fermentation. This research looks into processing dry fufu powder with little or no cyanide content as an improvement on fufu production. Traditional method of wet fufu production was employed to produce wet fufu mash. Low cyanide high protein dry fufu powder was produced from the wet mash. Microbial flora in the retting water were isolated, characterized and identified as Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella aerogenes, Enterobacter aerogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus coryneformis, Candida tropicalis, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Aspergillus sp and Rhizopus sp. The isolates were tested for their ability to ret the tubers and four isolates retted the tubers completely. Two organisms Lactobacillus coryneformis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae were used as starter cultures to ret the tubers as single cultures and mixed cultures to produce wet fufu samples F1 Lactobacillus coryneformis alone, F2 Saccharomyces cerevisiae alone, and F3 mixture of Lactobacillus coryneformis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae . The three fufu mashes produced were each dried in the oven at 65oC for 72 hours. They were crushed to powder and sieved, and assessed for their protein and cyanide contents. The percentage crude protein contents were 9.43, 9.75 and 10.20 respectively and their cyanide contents were 0.028, 0.020 and 0.017mg g respectively. The samples were aseptically packaged in cellophane bags. They lasted for six months without loosing their organoleptic qualities. Sensory evaluation of the samples accepts all the samples with most preference to F3. Therefore to enable long time storage of fufu with low cyanide and improved protein contents, starter cultures can be used to ferment the tubers and the wet mash aseptically oven dried, crushed and sieved to fufu powder. Peritoneal carcinomatosis represents a devastating form of cancer progression with a very poor prognosis. Its complex pathogenesis is represented by a dynamic process comprising several steps. The present study was done to compare the knowledge, attitude and utilization of selected Government health schemes among mothers of under five children in selected rural and urban areas. The objectives of the study were to assess the knowledge, attitude and utilization of selected Government health schemes among mothers of under five children in selected rural and urban areas, to compare the knowledge, attitude and utilization of selected Government health schemes among mothers of under five children in selected rural and urban areas and to find out association between knowledge, attitude and utilization of selected Government health schemes among mothers of under five children and selected demographic variables. The sample consisted of 220 mothers of under five children, 110 from urban area and 110 from rural area who were selected by multistage random sampling technique. The tools used for data collection were structured questionnaire, Likert scale and checklist to assess the knowledge, attitude and utilization of selected Government health schemes respectively. The findings of the study depicted that, in urban area 69.1 of samples had average knowledge whereas in rural area, 60.0 of samples had average knowledge, in urban area 82.7 of samples and in rural area 87.3 of samples had good attitude towards Government health schemes and in urban area 46.4 of samples had poor utilization and in rural area 56.4 of samples had average utilization. The present study found that, there was no significant difference between urban and rural area in the level of knowledge t=6.378, P=0.875, there was significant difference between urban and rural area in the attitude level t=2.207, P=0.002 and utilization t=4.977, P=0.000 of selected Government health schemes among mothers of under five children. Background Nurses play a critical role in helping the child and family cope effectively with hospitalization. Play is an essential part of a childs life and is an important aspect in fostering growth and development. Objectives The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Clay therapy on anxiety among hospitalized preschool children in paediatric medical ward. Methodology In this study a True experimental, pre test -post test control group design was adopted. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 60 hospitalized preschool children. Pre test was conducted by hospital observed behaviour check list on the first day after obtaining consent from all the subjects then clay therapy was given 30 minutes once a day for 7 Consecutive days total 7 sessions for the subjects. Posttest was assessed on 7th day using the same tool. Results Conclusion The study concluded that clay therapy is cost effective, non invasive, non pharmacological complementary and alternative therapy to reduce the level of anxiety among children. The study on "EFFECTIVENESS OF STRUCTURED TEACHING PROGRAMME ON KNOWLEDGE REGARDING BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEM AMONG MOTHERS OF SCHOOL CHILDREN IN SELECTED AREA AT MADURAI" was undertaken Objectives To assess knowledge among mothers of school children regarding behavioral problem before the structured teaching programme. Evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme STP on knowledge of mothers of school children regarding behavioral problem. Determine the association between knowledge among mothers of school children with selected socio demographic variables. Conceptual framework The study was based on Imogine Kings goal attainment theory. Design Evaluatory approach and pre experimental design was adopted for this study. Setting The study was conducted at selur Madurai district. Sample size The sample size was 60 mothers of school children. Methods of data collection procedure Data was collected from mothers of school children to assess level of knowledge by using structured tool before and after structured teaching programme. After administration of structured teaching programme the level of knowledgeis assessed. The collected data were tabulated and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Results Structured teaching programme is effective of mothers according to level of knowledge before and after the manipulation in which 41.67 of the samples had showed inadequate levels of knowledge in pretest. In contrast, 70 of the samples experienced adequate levels of knowledge in the post test. The mean post test knowledge score 17.62 was greater than the mean pretest level of knowledge score 9.52 . The obtained t value 14.33 was statistically highly significant at 0.05 levels. The mean difference between pretest score and posttest score is 8.1 was significant at 5 level as the p 0.05 . Cervical cancer is a cancer arising from the cervical canal. It is due to the abnormal growth of cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Early on typically no symptoms are seen. Later symptoms may include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain or pain during sexual intercourse. Materials and Methods Quantitative research approach with descriptive research design was adopted for this study. The sample of this study comprise of 50 women were selected by purposive sampling technique. The settings of the study was from funda village at Bhopal. Results Data collected by structured questionnaire and analysed by descriptive and Inferential statistics. The findings of the study revealed that 3 6 had very poor knowledge, 15 30 had poor knowledge, 15 30 had average knowledge, 13 26 had good knowledge, 4 8 had excellent knowledge scores regarding prevention of cervical cancer. The study revealed that there is significant association with age, educational status, religion and source of information whereas occupation and monthly income do not have significant association with their variables. The present research development of gluten free red rice muffins was carried out at the Department of Food Technology, Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara. The main objective of the study was to develop gluten free muffins. Red rice is a type of whole grain rice that is high in antioxidants, bioactive compounds, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The main goal of this study was to develop muffins that are fully nutritious. These muffins can be a great option for those who have gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as well as for anyone looking for a healthier breakfast or snack option. The key ingredient of these muffins was red rice flour and jaggery powder. And other ingredients were milk, vegetable oil, cocoa powder baking powder, baking soda, vanilla essence and lemon juice. Twenty different formulations were prepared and T20 treatment was found to be the best formulation after sensory evaluation with 9 hedonic point scale. Then further chemical analysis was done in the developed muffins. It showed 17.8 moisture content, 2.2 Ash content, 7 protein content, 8.94 fat content, 83.55 carbohydrates content, 0.4 fiber and 340.9 kcal 100g. The mineral content of muffins was Calcium 14, Magnesium 11.26, Iron 5.12 and Zinc 1.85 . During the 7 days of storage trials, red rice muffins showed an increase in moisture content but ash, fat and protein contents decreased significantly at ambient and refrigeration temperatures. An increase in moisture may be due to the permeability of air and a decrease in fat and protein may be due to the oxidation of fat and denaturation of proteins. Better retention of nutrients was noted for refrigeration temperature. Hence could be preserved for a longer time. FT IR analysis showed the wavenumbers 928 cm 1, 2935 cm 1 and 1646 cm 1 which represent HC=CH, methyl CH3, and C O peak of ester and phenol was observed accordingly. Thus, the developed red rice muffins have improved nutritional value and should be suggested to individuals of all ages. The cesarean delivery rates in India are raising day by day. The aim of the study is to estimate the any association between institutional health center it may be public or private with caesarian delivery rates in Ahmedabad district. This cross sectional study used institutional delivery data from the health sectors of Ahmedabad district and National Family Health Survey NFHS . Data were analyzed from October 2021 to December 2021. The cesarean section rate was significantly lower among rural compared to urban women. Age of the mother, parity, previous cesarean and distance from the hospital were some of the important variables of cesarean section rates. According to the study we found higher cesarean rates in urban area compared to rural area and there is association between institutional deliveries with cesarean delivery rates. This study examined the relationship between idea nurturing and business expansion using descriptive design. Incubation centres in the South East Nigeria provided the respondents for the study complete enumeration sampling technique was adopted to elicit data from top Management Staff Trainers of the incubation centres. The instrument for the study was a structured five point Likert Scale, which was subjected to face and content validity. The reliability of the instrument was determined using Spearman Brown correlation co efficient of 0.81. The hypothesis was tested with Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient at 95 confidence interval. The result of the test showed that there exists positive significant relationship between idea nurturing and business expansion. Reinforced concrete deep beams are widely used as transfer girders in offshore structures and foundations, walls of bunkers and load bearing walls in buildings. The presence of web openings in such beams is frequently required to provide accessibility such as doors and windows or to accommodate essential services such as ventilating and air conditioning ducts. Enlargement of such openings due to architectural mechanical requirements and or a change in the buildings function would reduce the elements shear capacity, thus rendering a severe safety hazard. Limited studies have been reported in the literature on the behavior and strength of RC deep beams with openings. When such enlargement is unavoidable adequate measures should be taken to strengthen the beam and counteract the strength reduction. The present experimental investigation deals with the study of deep beams containing openings and the validation of results with FEM model using ANSYS. A total of 5 deep beams with openings are casted without shear reinforcements and are tested under three point loading. Test specimen has a cross section of 150x460 mm and a total length of 1200 mm. Two circular openings, one in each shear span, are placed symmetrically about the mid point of the beam. The structural response of RC deep beams with openings was primarily dependent on the degree of the interruption of the natural load path. Externally bonded GFRP shear strengthening around the openings was found very effective in upgrading the shear strength of RC deep beams. The strength gain caused by the GFRP sheets was in the range of 68-125 . Finite element modeling of RC deep beams containing openings strengthened with GFRP sheets is studied using ANSYS and the results are compared with experimental findings. It has been estimated that several million tons of waste glasses are generated annually worldwide. The key sources of waste glasses are waste containers, window glasses, window screen, medicinal bottles, liquor bottles, tube lights, bulbs, electronic equipments etc. Only a part of this waste glass can be used in recycling. The remaining waste glass cannot be used for any purposes. But recently the research has shown that the waste glass can be effectively used in concrete either as glass aggregate as fine aggregate or as coarse aggregate or as a glass pozzolana. The waste glass when grounded to a very fine powder shows some pozzolanic properties. Therefore the glass powder to some extent can replace the cement and contribute to the strength development.In a growing country like India a huge amount of industrial waste is polluting the environment. With a view of the above, this study aims at utilization of such industrial by product for value added application. In addition the waste can improve the properties of construction materials. The recycled glass has been used in the form of powder. The glass powder was tested with concrete and mortar. Cement was replaced by the glass powder in some proportion. The flexural strength was conducted for the above replacements. The result showed glass powder improves the mechanical properties. The advantages of this project are that the replacement of glass powder is economically cheap as well as a superior concrete can be made.Concrete is the most widely used man made construction material in the world. The popularity of concrete is due to the fact that from the common ingredients the properties of concrete are tailored to meet the demand of any particular application and then most widely used in all types of civil engineering works including infrastructures, low and high rise buildings, defense developments. However, in recent years the wisdom of own continued wholesale extraction and use of aggregate from natural resources has been questioned at on an international level. This is mainly because of the depletion of quality primary aggregate and greater awareness of environmental protection. Retention in school has positive consequences for individuals throughout their lives. This study presents the current factors that contribute to retention of boy child in public primary school, with a view of getting possible solution for countering the problems that causes boy child not to retain in school. The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of the socio cultural factors on retention of boy child in public primary schools in Turkana West Sub County. The research was guided by the classical liberal theory of equal opportunity. The research adopted a descriptive survey method. This design was considered appropriate because data was collected at one point in time across many individuals. The target population of the study comprised of 62 Head Teachers, 62 Deputy Head Teachers, 62 Senior Teachers and 62 Guidance and Counseling Teachers. The 14 Chiefs of Turkana West Sub County were also included as part of key informants in the study. Data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists SPSS . Quantitative data collected was analyzed by use of descriptive statistics to generate percentages, means, standard deviations and frequencies. Inferential statistics was done using linear regression model. The study results were presented using tables and figures. The Principal of a school plays a very important role in shaping and maintaining the students discipline in the school. He she determines the behavioral pattern of the school community. The Principal influences the teachers, members of the support staff, parents and students. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the democratic leadership style on students discipline in public secondary schools in Teso North Sub County, Kenya. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. The target population consisted of 31 deputy principals administration and 216 teachers from the 31 public secondary schools in Teso North Sub County, Kenya. Stratified random sampling technique was used for the schools. Purposive sampling technique was employed for the deputy principals administration while simple random sampling was used to select the teachers. The total sample size was 139 respondents comprising 16 deputy principals administration and 123 teachers. The data was collected using interview schedules for Deputy Principals administration and questionnaires for the class teachers. The study showed that schools in which the Principals practiced democratic leadership style registered a high level of discipline. The study concluded that principals use of democratic leadership styles has the effect of significantly minimizing chances of students misbehaviour. The Sone River is a significant river in India, located primarily in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. It is one of the major tributaries of the Ganges River and plays a crucial role in the regions ecology, economy, and cultural heritage. In the present study 1000 individuals of fish specimens were collected from four different geographical locations of Sone River of Sidhi district region. Morphologically 19 species were identified and Phylogenetic trees were constructed based on CO1 gene of mitochondrial DNA using Maximum Parimony approaches using MEGA 11 software. The Phylogenetic tree revealed that species clustered differently under diverse nodes. It revealed that fish species clustered together because they were in the same order and family. These results showed that fish species share identical genera but with diverse genetic variations due to diverse habitats involving a common ancestor. This study examined empirically corporate governance committees and financial performance of healthcare companies. The independent variables are remuneration committees and nomination committees and independent variable was proxied with return on equity. The study used Ex Post Facto research design. Regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses. The result showed that remuneration committee has a negative effect on return on assets, and this effect was not statistically significant at 5 level of significance. While nomination committee has a positive effect on return on assets, and this effect was statistically significant at 5 level of significance. It was suggested that the remuneration committee ensure that the appointed board members have an appropriate balance of skills to successfully discharge their duties. Rock fall is the act of releasing pieces of rock from bedrock slopes provoked by environmental factors, such as physical and chemical weathering, and vibration caused by rock blasting. The evaluation of the rate at which pieces of rock are released from the Quarrys bench face through modeling in order to prevent possible accidents is necessary. The method used for this investigation involves taking field measurements of the slope height, slope angle, length and width of the bench. Rock samples were also taken from the field to the laboratory to carry out tests to determine the density, friction angle and slope roughness of the rock. With this, the models were made with rock fall program. The design of a universal sieving machine was explored to meet the diverse needs of sieving applications across various industries. The machine incorporates various mechanisms to enable it to handle different types of materials e.g., cassava flakes, Sand, Flour, etc. and sieve them to desired particle sizes. Careful component selection and procurement were undertaken to ensure compatibility, quality, and availability. This paper advocates the possibility of integrating the models of traditional business school to entrepreneurship development and job creation in Nigeria. The four Ps of the marketing mix is integrated with the environment as part of green marketing. This idea is extensively explored at various levels and in a variety of places. The message of environmental protection is spread among members of society and the community as it is addressed more frequently. This in turn motivates people to adopt the practice of protecting the environment in their daily activities and consumption. Marketers and producers must be aware of changes in consumer consumption patterns and adapt their marketing strategies accordingly. It is essential that marketers include the idea of being green in their marketing campaigns. The researchers objectives are to analyze the strategies, policies, and practices of green marketing, evaluate its application, and investigate the impact of the idea on processed food companies in the Indian market. Seven well known processed food firms that promote community, society, and environmental protection through CSR and SD activities were the subject of an exploratory study. The results show that processed food manufacturers sell their goods based on features including taste, quality, and price. Based on Ginsberg and Blooms Green Marketing Strategy Matrix and Porters Generic Competitive Strategy, an analysis was done. It can be said that all seven of the processed food businesses examined in the study are Shaded Green, employing unique business models and taking part in sustainable and CSR initiatives. These actions are not, however, included in the marketing plans that aim to influence consumers. A rice de stoning machine was designed, fabricated and evaluated for performance. The de stoning machine will utilize vibrating motion to further separate the rice grains from the impurities. The vibration causes the rice grains to move in a specific direction, while the heavier impurities remain stationary. Mild steel was used in the construction of the machine. The machine is driven by a 2Hp electric motor with 1103W required power. Standard equations were used to determine the dimension of the pass and optimization of machine parameters such as air flow rate and vibration frequency. The effectiveness of the de stoning machine will be evaluated by testing its performance with different masses of rice samples and impurities.
